Little Big Soldier/大兵小将

The plot was normal, nothing attractive, and there were even few female roles in it. But this movie was almost the best among Jackie Chan's works at the same period. Everyone in the movie held his own belief and tried to explore it. Someone chose to be a deserter and wanted to go back to home to be a farmer with his belief; someone struggled to survive to go back to his homeland with his own belief. Everyone, high or low, had their own beliefs, which made the movie appealing.

单看情节而言，片子并没有什么出色的地方，甚至都没什么女性角色。但在同时期的成龙影片中，本片的质量无疑最高。可以说，片中的所有人都在探讨一个问题：自己的信念。有人因为自己的信念，当了逃兵，要回家种田；有人因为自己的信念，要挣扎着活下去，回到自己的故国。不论卑贱高低，每个人都有自己的信念，就让这部片子有吸引力。
