To Eradicate Bandits in Western Hunan I/湘西剿匪记 I

In the early days when Chinese Communist Party (CPC) came to power, there was the complexity of various political forces and armed forces. CPC regarded all those who were not obedient as "bandits" (even including some forces who once cooperated with CPC), and produced lots of movies and TV works on the theme of the "glorious" history of eradicating bandits. This movie was one of them.

中共建国初期，各种政治力量和武装力量错综复杂，中共将不驯服的力量一律称之为“土匪”（甚至包括之前有过合作的武装力量），也制造了很多的影视作品反映“剿匪”的“光辉”历史，本片就是其中之一。
