This movie was filmed in Mainland in the 1980's when Shaolin Temple story was popular. The whole framework was "to learn kung fu and revenge", but there was lots of humor elements inside and made the movie both thrilling and humorous.
Zhao Xiaorui starred as Li Kui in the 1998 version TV show "Water Margin".
