This animation was adapted from a story in "Collection of Strange Stories". Its point was somewhat like "Don Quixote" in criticizing how the fabricated immortal ghost stories made people daydream all day long and waste their lives. However, the cartoon was so wonderful that the audience all forgot its real point. In addition, the ditty was impressive: "I go through the wall, I just go through the wall~"

本片改编自《聊斋志异》，本意有点像堂吉柯德，讽刺胡编乱造的神仙志怪小说如何让人整天想入非非，虚度人生。不过因为动画片实在很精彩，反而让观众忘了它的这个本意。另外，主人公哼的小曲也让人印象很深刻：“穿墙过去，我穿墙过去～”
