Had not been for the reversal of the last half, the movie could also be labeled a boring one of the type of a man's midlife crisis. It could almost tie to "The Lincoln Lawyer" due to the better last half. Yet, "The Lincoln Lawyer" is the movie about a wise man, and this movie is no more than a movie of a sorehead lawyer who failed to make a humble living.

要不是本片后半部分渐入佳境，差点要把本片归入到比较乏味的男人中年危机电影类型里。也是靠了后半部的精彩，本片几乎能赶上《林肯律师》的水平。不过还是差了一点。那是拍的聪明人的电影，这是拍的希望苟活而不能的落魄律师的电影。
