Ashima/阿诗玛

The most beautiful girl Yang, Likun only starred two movies: "Five Girls/五朵金花" and this one, but both movies are splendid and memorable. Few current movies (or TV dramas) about minority in China can rival these two movies. Yang, Likun, as most beautiful but most tragic movie stars in that era, would be noted forever by her fans.

This movie is a reappearance of a same-named folk legendary and made its great success even limited by the technical skills at that time.
