The movie was a praise to Yang, Shanzhou the exemplary figure of the Chinese Communist Party. There were indeed such good persons and such good deeds, but the existence of one or two good persons did not change the evil nature of CPC as a whole. The leading role Li, Xuejian kind of repeated his own performance in "Jiao, Yulu", which may be because that the propaganda models were all very similar.

这又是一部歌颂中国共产党的模范人物杨善洲的片子。这样的好人好事固然有，但是，一两个好人的存在并不能改变这个党整体邪恶的本质。主演李雪健的表演跟他在《焦裕禄》中有点自我重复，这大概是因为被宣传的模范都很相似。
