Speaking about the movie mode, this movie is the same to the traditional Chinese Ghost movies (such as "Sex Beyond the Grave") on how a ghost who died of injustice finds justice. Yet it is difficult to make a mark without any innovation. The audience still find it hard to forget Daniel Radcliffe's role in "Harry Potter".

从类型上讲，本片和中国传统鬼片的模式（如《风流冤鬼》）并没有什么不同，都是讲受到不公而死的冤鬼如何寻找正义的故事。没有创新，就很难出彩。而观众看Daniel Radcliffe也总觉得还没摆脱《哈利波特》的影子。
