Stalingrad/斯大林格勒/Сталинград

The movie is more like "love stories in Stalingrad" than "war in Stalingrad"; I think the reason why it chooses so is because it focuses on how wars destroys human being of both sides.

Particularly, the broken love between the German guy and the Russian girl is impressive. Their love was doomed to be ruined, and to be ruined by the girl's Russian folks who was assigned to defend her makes it more tragic and heart-broken.
