This is the best one of Jackie Chan's movie through recent years. Interestingly, this is a political movie rather than a kung fu movie, but it gets rid of the limitation of Jackie's routine (such as kung fu tricks) and tells a better story. Jackie, as a father who lost his only daughter, has been involved in a series of terrorist attack and finally he decided to fight back in his own way. The director balances well between a could-be-boring political movie and a fancy kung-fu-movie well.
The make-up in this movie does a good job. Pierce Brosnan is really like a politician, and Jackie looks so much like a heart-broken dad.
