A Ghost Story/鬼魅浮生

It is a long and short movie. It is long because it is easily to be regarded as a tedious one, few lines, one ghost and a girl from beginning to the end. It is also short because it condenses a life-long love in a 90-minute movie.

Being lost after losing your love, is the topic of the movie. The director visualizes the feeling of being lost after departing from one's spouse. It is more than sorrow, it is more like something void. You want to express something, but you say nothing; you want to cry, but you have no tears; you look for something hopeful, but you know you may be disappointed. Everyone experiences this if he/she once loses his/her own love, which could fade when time flows, but here in the movie, the leading guy is in great sorrow as time is almost frozen for him.
