China's Van Goghs/中国梵高

This documentary records an intimate portrait of a peasant-turned oil painter transitioning from making copies of iconic Van Goghs' paintings to creating his own authentic works of art.

The leading man, who makes a living by intimating Van Goghs' works, understood his future would not lie in copy-and-paste after his tour to Holland. He then turned to create his own paintings. He is the image of lots of Chinese people who want to create their own business.
