The setting of the story is far beyond the director's ability in controlling the whole movie, which leads the movie full of flaws everywhere: plot, roles, etc.
The funny part is the ending when the two roles repeat the lines in "Infernal Affairs", which is almost the only point that I can remember after watching it.
