I had been really looking forward to seeing what a quantum world would be in Marvel movies and I had been prepared to be astonished very much; well, at first it seemed a surprise, but soon I found the setting of the quantum world was no more than the story in "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope", and the plot was almost the same.
I know that the patterns of superhero stories are probably limited, but the setting of the quantum world should be something refreshing, isn't it? Just think about the setting of the sea world in "Aquaman", the audience could feel like it is really some worlds under the sea. But the "quantum world" in the Ant-man world would just let you feel that it is some Alien world rather than the quantum world. You know there are kinds of difference between the quantum world and the real worlds such as the physical laws, but you can not feel them in this movie, which I think is one of the reasons why it got a low rank.
