For a Stephen Chow movie, this is barely a pass, and it really lacks polish. The character arcs feel clunky and forced, like a bunch of random ideas stuck together. The plot is way too crammed—there's zero buildup at the start, just straight into high-stakes scenes right away, which almost made me turn it off. I saw a comment that nailed it: it’s like a fan used AI to recreate and stitch together iconic scenes from past Stephen Chow films. The only redeeming quality is probably how creative the soccer moves are.
