The movie was a classic one in gangster movies. Struggles in humble societies, fights among families, conflicts and love inside families were all connected successfully, and constituted an epic historical scroll. To watch the movie was like reading the early history of the United States. Not only did the movie itself become the object of imitation of the similar movies, but also its many screen-shots (such as Don Corleone gently stroking his kitten) had become classic memory of fans.
