This movie is a great disappointment for DC fans. The producer copies the way of Marvel's success in making a blockbuster: group fight, but, it works for Marvel does not mean it works for DC also. DC produces this movie in such a hurry that it forgets Marvel made the first "Avengers" after it had produced many single superhero movies in advance to probate the atmosphere since "Iron Man" in 2008.
So it is easy to understand Zack Snyder's dilemma: he has to introduce new superheros such as The Flash (first showtime in movie screen), Aquaman and Cyborg, while at the same time he has to fabricate a relatively new and complete story. Oh, and he has to solve the conflicts between Superman and Batman. These relationships are so hard to balance, which is the main reason why few audience are satisfied by the final work.
Another weakness is related with the points above: the villain is too weak. I had expected to see a villain who was strong enough to fight a whole team of superheros, but come on, Steppenwolf who was so easily crushed with a little finger by Superman? Is he strong enough to deserve the name of enemy of the Justice League who got united to confront the giant invasion danger? Considering the reasons above it is easy to understand: Zack does not have enough time for a powerful villain as he has to build the Justice League first.
This movie is not good as Zack's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", as fans could still appreciate that one but not this one. As for the audience who are not familiar with the superheros, this movie could be a big obstacle.
Performance impression:
Director: Joss Whedon
