Hands Up/举起手来

This movie shows us the Chinese typical stereotypes to Japanese troops in Anti-Japanese War from 1931 to 1945: silly, stupid, ugly and easy to be defeated. This is a natural reflection to the enemy in a war to please present Chinese audience, though this movie was too exaggerating to make it a purely slapstick rather than a humorous one.

However, once Chinese audience did not change their taste, this kind of vulgar movie will still be popular.
