Creation/造物弄人

The story was about the genius Charles Darwin. It was somewhat like the movie "A Beautiful Mind" on another genius John Nash. Nash always felt to be surrounded by illusory figures, and in the movie, the audience can see that Darwin seemed always to be accompanied by his daughter's ghost. The difference is that Nash took the virtual shadows to be true existence, while Darwin in the movie was well aware that her daughter had died young, he was just talking to himself.

The movie focused on Darwin's inner struggle. Darwin grew up in religious environment, so in despite of the fact that he had known a large number of evolutionary evidence, it is still very difficult for him to promote his epoch-making masterpiece; he certainly experienced a long period of inner struggle and torment. The video can help us to better understand what was happening at that time.

本片讲述的是天才的生物学家达尔文，和讲述另一个天才纳什的影片《美丽心灵》有点类似，纳什总觉得身边有虚幻的人物存在，而本片给观众呈现的达尔文的生活中也总伴随着他早夭的女儿的幻影。区别只在于纳什身边的身影是虚拟的，他却以为真实；而达尔文则清楚地知道女儿已经早夭，他只是在跟自己对话。

本片集中在描述达尔文的内心挣扎上。达尔文在宗教环境中长大，所以尽管手中掌握了大量的进化论方面的证据，但仍然很难直接推出这一划时代的巨著，必然内心经历了长时间的斗争和折磨。影片可以帮助我们更好地了解当时的情况。
