The Message/风声

Even as I have read the fiction before watching the movie, I still appreciated the movie very much! It was so arresting and exciting. The movie did not try to keep the secret of who is the rat till the end, and it did tell the audience the clues about the candidates, which showed the director's own confidence: you the audience would know the answer before I disclose it, but you still want to listen to my story. The attraction came from how the rat(s) succeeded in covering themselves in the end and sending the message out.The key is not Who, but How.

在观影之前我已经读过原文小说，不过电影依然很赞，非常有吸引力和激动人心。本片并没有试图在最后才揭开谜底，告诉观众谁是内鬼，而明确地向观众提供了一些线索，这也是导演的自信所在：观众可能已经知道了答案，但仍然还是想来看这个故事。吸引力来自于内鬼（们）是如何成功隐匿自己并送出情报的，关键不在于谁是内鬼，而在于内鬼的手段。
