The Last Station/最后一站

The movie attempted to show us the audience the daily life of Tolstoy's life before his death using a more plain perspective. Tolstoy fought his wife at that time due to the difference between their values, and the movie interpreted the reason to be the difference between their love: Tolstoy's love was for the whole mankind, while his wife's love was more for him and their children. This interpretation inspired the audience to think about Tolstoy's choice, and I believe everyone would have his own conclusions.

The cast's excellent performance contributed much credit for the movie. The male leading actor, to my surprise, was the leading one in the classic "The Sound of Music", vow, look at his gray hair, can't believe how time flied.

本片试图用一种更平实、更加生活化的角度来展现托尔斯泰临终前的生活。虽然这个时候他和妻子由于价值观的差异而矛盾重重，本片将之解释为不同的爱：托尔斯泰的爱是给予人类的，而其妻子的爱是给予他和孩子们的。这一诠释激发了观众对托尔斯泰的选择的思考，相信每一个人都会有自己的结论。

演员的出色演出为电影增色不少，让我在观影之前想不到的是，本片的男主角亦是经典老片《音乐之声》的男主角，看着他满头银发，真是岁月不饶人啊。
