As the Part 1 of the last show of Harry Potter series, the movie had to face a so difficult problem: it had to make the audience be ready for the final fight, can not too clearly indicative, yet still need to continued to introduce new plots based on the previous 6 movies to sustain the audience's interest. Comparatively, the movie did the impossible mission fairly well. The darkness continue to prevail, the war between the good and the evil was about to break out, and the audience all looked forward to the finale (although they already knew the result) so eagerly and earnestly.
作为哈利·波特系列的最后一部片的第一部分，本片的难度可想而知，既要做好铺垫，为最后的大决战做好准备，不能太锋芒毕露，但同时也要在前6部的基础上，继续推陈出新，否则无法维持住观众的兴趣。相对来说，本片比较成功地达成了这个不可能完成的任务。黑暗在继续，正邪之间的战争一触即发，让观众对大结局（尽管已经知道结果）充满期待。
