Gone With The Bullets/一步之遥

Mr. Jiang Wen is lost in showing off his egoism, the worship to himself, which makes the movie broken.

Actually this is a pretty good story (one man and two women) and could be a good movie, but Jiang Wen wanted too much to show off himself and his own understanding to movies and he mocked too much from different classical movies, which made the audience feel not being respected. Yes, the audience bought the ticket to watch a movie, but not to expect to watch some solo show.

Too much showing off undermines this movie, making it not as good as his other works such as "Let The Bullets Fly" and "The Sun Also Rises".
