This movie is the story of the most brilliant theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking and his first wife Jane Wilde. Yet, this is not a happy-ending love story. Under the deep pressure of only two years had been predicted for Hawking's life, Jane married him and had then taken good care of him and they had three children. However, with the collapse of Hawking's body and the soaring of his academic renown, something unchangeable happened to the couple's relationship.
Eddie Redmayne (for the role Stephen Hawking) offered an excellent performance in the movie that he demonstrated total the sickness of the Professor. Every audience would understand the tremendous suffer for a powerful soul to be limited in a broken body.
