As the sequel of "
The Jungle Book", this animation continues to tell a story of a boy's growing up. The rural jungle and the civilized village means differently to Mowgli the boy: the jungle means happy childhood and the civilized village means boring and tiring adulthood world. So he tried to escape from the village to the jungle to avoid countless jobs, work and school, meaning he tried to avoid growing up. Yet, we all know it is inevitable. He would and shall grow up after having experienced many setbacks and frustrations, as he would come to realize he can Never go back to the jungle.
