This is a high-end documentary on wild animals in China. It cost the producer team more than 3 years and lots of efforts in filming around China. Lu Chuan the director chose four kinds of wild animals: panda, goat, monkey and leopard. Not only did he show the audience the fun and happy in nature, but also he demonstrated the cruelty of living in nature, and the latter in my opinion is essential to modern audience.
The life of wild animals is demonstrated in the perspective of families, which is refreshing in Chinese animal documentary. Zhou Xun's narration added something innovating in it.
