Serial (Bad) Weddings/岳父岳母真难当/Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au Bon Dieu?

This is a funny comedy on how a father-in-law reconcile with his four son-in-laws: He himself is French, but his son-in-laws include a Chinese, a Muslim, a Jew and the last one a black Christian. This comedy is a miniature of current France: a family of lots of races of people.

If you take the whole nation as a great family, it is natural to come across the conflicts among different races. But how to reconcile with one another is a very difficult work. To make a happy ending for a movie is easy, but to ease the different races in the real life is very hard.

There are full of comedy conflicts in the first half of the movie, while in the latter half the rhythm is apparently slowed down and make the movie a little loose. But all in all the theme of the movie is good.
