It looks like an active sculpture of the history of human being's civilization rather than an animation. I can get the idea of "Agriculture then industry. Old then new. Critical then extra. Simple to complex. Concrete to abstract. Dirt to clouds. Real to unreal", but there might be something more to make it from a moving picture to some sort of short animation.
