Snipers/狙击手

This movie could be divided into two parts: the first half before the death of the Chinese Sergent and the last half after his death.

The first half could be ranked 8/10 or 9/10, as it is more like a mix of "Saving Private Ryan" and "Enemy at the Gates", the story and the roles are both well-telling and smooth.

Yet, the last half after the death of the Sergent is really a typical modern Chinese movie routine: the bad guys must be silly and must die; the PLA must win finally no matter how many people died for the mission; the PLA soldier(s) must die for his order, not for their peer soldiers. And in the end, the audience could see the familiar Chinese way of propaganda, which makes this half to be ranked less than 6/10.
