Silenced/

Any country has her dark side, but not every country is able to reflect it in movies (such as "In The Valley of Elah"). For us individuals, almost everyone disagrees the discrimination against vulnerable groups, but not everyone is willing to accept such a movie.

There are two shooting ways for movies with this kind of theme: one, to focus on the difficulty of evidence-collecting. It is easy to make the movie exciting and terrifying in this way, with lots of suspending mysteries. The other way is to concentrate on the court battles and fights among various political powers (such as the religious group in this movie). Undoubtedly this movie chose the second way, which reduces the superficial conflicts but makes the audience think more and deeper.
