The movie took with a strong political background, and of course it served for the politics propaganda: the vicious landlord, wise and brave peasant boys. Except for its political propaganda, this was still somewhat an artistic movie.本片带有强烈的政治色彩，其实当然是为了政治宣传服务的：狠毒的地主，机智而不畏强暴的农民长工。刨去里面的政治宣传不说，本片还是有一定艺术性。
