Being different from other gangster movies, this one was rare to describe the daily life of police force and the cops' lives. At this point, the movie more or less went with some Hong Kong style, such as "PTU".

Jeremy Renner in this movie was just a junior, but soon he became a shining star in "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" (as William Brandt).

和一般的警匪片不同，本片是难得的以描述警队生活为核心的电影，警察的日常生活也成为影片的主要内容。跟港片有点像，如《机动部队》。

本片中，Jeremy Renner只能算是小字辈，不过不妨碍他日后在《碟中谍4》（饰演William Brandt）中大放异彩。
