I think this is a Chinese immigrant family's movie rather than a superhero one. The audience can see lots of Chinese family stuff and the subtle metaphors to the conflicts within Chinese immigrant families everywhere. Honestly, this movie's ranking in the Genre Family might be higher than its ranking in Genre Superhero.
Someone in Mainland China claimed that this movie "humiliating China", Oh come on, how self-abased are you!
