The family series directed by Raymond Wong would followed the routine of happy-ending after several nonsense tricks. Yan Ni's performance in this movie was nothing more than average.

黄百鸣导演的家庭喜事系列，一定是一群人胡闹一阵以后，皆大欢喜。闫妮在本片中的表演一般。

Leap Year/闰年

The story was quite familiar to us, which was another version of the Oscar movie "It Happened One Night": two strange people (a boy and a girl) got together in an isolated environment and fell in love very soon.

这个故事的套路不陌生了，它就是另一个版本的奥斯卡影片《一夜风流》：陌生男女在短期隔绝式的接触后，迅速坠入爱河。

Iron Man 2/钢铁侠2

Although there were kinds of pro and con to this movie, I think that was just another "Iron Man", the similar hero, similar fond of pretty girls, similar patriotism, similarly defeated bad guys.

Of course, the visual effect was good.

虽然网上对本片的褒贬不一，不过我觉得这跟第一部《Iron Man》差不多，一样的英雄，一样的爱美女，一样的爱美国，一样地打败了邪恶的敌人。

当然，视觉特效还是很棒。

Rango/兰戈

Although it was an animation, the movie was really a western film indeed including all western film's elements: the hero arrived in the crisis-hidden small down, the hero won his first battle, the hero was misunderstood and had to leave the town, the residents of the town struggled, the hero rescued the town with his wisdom. Yet, it was very refreshing and attractive to view all of these in an animation, and all animals roles were so funny.

虽然是动画片的形式，但本片的的确确是一部西部片，包括了西部片的所有环节：英雄来到危机四伏的小镇，英雄初战告捷，英雄被误解，离开小镇，小镇居民挣扎，英雄用自己的智慧解救了小镇。但是用动画片呈现这一切的确是别具一格，引人入胜，各种动物形象的角色也非常有趣。

Qiu Xi/秋喜

I have to say that this movie is a pleasant surprise to me. It combines a spy story and a love story together, and tells the story skillfully. It is as good as, if not worse than, "The Message".

不得不说本片带给我的其实是惊喜：把谍战线索和爱情线索交织在一起，故事讲得很有技巧，有张有弛。以它的成本而言，本片和《风声》相比，并不算多逊色。

Logorama/商标的世界

The cast of the movie is so "luxury": a lots of world-renowned tradermark brands all organized in an exciting story. This idea is easy to have, but it is difficult to make it.

本片的阵容可谓“奢华”：各种全球知名的商标品牌，都被导演巧妙地组织在一个紧张刺激的故事里。有这个创意并不难，但真正把它做出来就很不容易。

Six-Fingered Strings Demon/六指琴魔

This is a story about the dirty underworld. You have no choice once you are in this dirty underworld. You have to be involved in various conspiracies and you have to fight against kinds of conspiracies. Brigitte Lin is so impressive and it is kind of admirable to see she alone fought against the whole kung fu world.

这是一个江湖的故事，人在江湖，身不由己，不得不卷到各种争权夺利的阴谋中去，也不得不对抗各种阴谋。林青霞的扮相令人印象深刻，独立对抗整个武林更是令人赞叹不已。

Sword Stained with Royal Blood/新碧血剑

This movie is adapted from Jin Yong's original novel. While being limited by the length of the movie, it is just the part of the story in Wenjia Bao where the conflicts broke out. Yet the characters are kept almost the same to the novel, which guarantees its quality.

Ironically, the movie was banned in mainland China in the beginning of 21st century. The reason is very simple: the name of Wenjia Bao is the same to Wen Jiabao, the Chinese Premier in pronunciation.

本片根据金庸的原著改编。囿于影片的篇幅，只截取了戏剧冲突最激烈的温家堡一段。不过各种人物的设定基本和原著差不多，电影本身的质量也因为原著的质量而得到保证。

讽刺的是，本片后来在中国大陆被禁播，原因很简单：温家堡的名字与中国总理温家宝的名字重音。

The Three Swordsmen/刀剑笑

The movie is adapted from the same-named comic books, and the audience still can tell lots of comic elements in the movie. Yet, the director may try to contain too much content of the comic book in the movie, and made it a little difficult for those who had not read the books.

The movie is like a story about a lady's conspiracy rather than a kung fu one: The top 3 kung fu masters had to fight against each other under a lady's conspiracy. Of course, there is a happy ending.

本片根据同名漫画改编，影片本身还能看到很多漫画元素。只不过可能是试图塞入了太多的漫画的内容，对于没有读过漫画的人来说，不能很快跟上电影的节奏。

看起来不像是一部江湖功夫片，倒更像是一部讲述女人阴谋的故事片。三个江湖第一高手，竟然在一个女人的设计下相互决斗，当然，最后还是得到了一个大团圆结局。

Born to Defence/中华英雄

The movie follows the traditional routine of "patriotism + kung fu", which is one of the main routines of the contemporary Chinese kung fu movie. It is innovative that the movie's kung fu design has been integrated into lots of Western boxing style.

本片仍然是主打的“爱国主义+功夫”的套路，这是当代中国功夫电影的主要套路之一。不过难得的是本片的功夫设计比较有新意，融入了很多西洋拳击的套路。

Timecop: The Berlin Decision/时空特警2

This movie is a usual sci-fi story about "back to the past", but there are still lots of flaws about its logic, which makes the movie's point is kung fu fight rather than some exploration to time-travel and makes it more like a kung fu movie rather than a sci-fi one.

In fact, it is easy to solve the moral dilemma referred by the movie: what if a Hitler-like villain appears if the real Hitler had been killed and the history be changed? Can this solve all the history issues? Of course not! Thus, the only way is not to change the evil history but to build a better future.

本片是常见的“回到过去”的科幻片题材，不过在逻辑上似乎还是有很多漏洞，导致全片的看点最后落在了功夫打斗而非对时间旅行的探索上，不太像一个科幻片。

其实，对于片中所谈到的道德困境，要解决起来并不那么困难：倘若杀掉了一个希特勒，改变了历史，却让另一个希特勒那样的恶棍出现，就能解决所有的历史问题么？当然不。所以，唯一的办法只能是不去改变罪恶的历史，而是努力创造一个美好的未来。

The Fearless Hyena/笑拳怪招

This movie's structure is similar to "Drunken Monkey in the Tiger's Eyes", also depicting a young hero's growing-up from a naughty teenager boy to a kung fu master. While this movie was directed by Jackie Chan himself, so there was lots of fun inside.

本片和《醉拳》的模式很相似，都是描述少年英雄的成长过程，从不懂事的顽皮少年到报仇雪恨的功夫高手。只不过本片由成龙自己导演，搞笑的成分更多一些。

Beginners/初学者

Coincidentally, this movie is similar to "Big Fish" by Ewan McGregor as leading hero: similar stories about the relation between father and son, and similar narrating structure. The former one goes with some fairy tale style and focuses mostly on the father, and the latter is realistic and highlights on the influence to the son. All in all this is a peaceful movie.

很巧合的是，本片和Ewan McGregor出演的另一部电影《大鱼》几乎都是同样的内容，都是关于父子之间的情感，而叙事结构也基本一致。当然在细节上，前者带有一定的童话色彩，而且基本上都是围绕着父亲在叙事；而后者是纯粹的现实主义创作，而且突出了儿子受到的影响。很平静的影片。

The Bodyguard/保镖

This is a predictable love story. Kevin Costner's image as a tough guy is so impressive, and Whitney Houston's songs are really the highlights of the movie.

意料之中的爱情故事，Kevin Costner的硬汉形象十分引人注目，而Whitney Houston的歌声更是本片的亮点。

The Bodyguard from Beijing/中南海保镖

The movie could be regarded as the Chinese version of "The Bodyguard", and of course it has its own Chinese characteristics: Jet Li's kung fu skills. Li's good looking makes the movie much better and the movie is so well-known that the words "Zhong Nan Hai bodyguards" are often used to describe the real governmental top bodyguards.

 

本片可以看作是《保镖》的中国版，当然本片有自己的中国特色：李连杰的身手。李连杰的俊朗外形给本片增色不少，本片也因此而颇为出名，以至于“中南海保镖”这个词都屡屡被用来形容真实生活中的“大内高手”们。

I, Robot/我，机器人

The movie is adapted from the sci-fi master Asimov's works. The point of the story is the same as "The Matrix", discussing the control of human society by information technology in the future. Of course, the movie also goes with the unique Asimov logic style and Will Smith's action skills.

本片根据科幻大师阿西莫夫的名作改编，故事的实质其实和《黑客帝国》是一样的，都是在探讨在未来社会中信息技术对人类的控制。当然，本片还有阿西莫夫作品特有的逻辑感和Will Smith的身手。

The Tokyo Trial/东京审判

The movie is really worth of watching for every Chinese, the reason is not that Chinese people could judge Japan the once-enemy as a victor, but that the movie involves law and order, which are missing in Chinese recalling to Sino-Japanese War or the whole history.

本片确实是每一个中国人都值得一看的电影，原因并不在于可以以胜利者的姿态去审视日本这个曾经的敌对国家，而是在于电影中涉及到的法律和秩序一直是中国人在反思中日战争甚至是反思所有的历史的时候都缺少的东西。

Gopher Broke/饥饿的地鼠

This was a very interesting short animation. The rat was just like the miserable squirrel in "Ice Age".

妙趣横生的动画片，隐隐有《冰河世纪》里那只倒霉的松鼠的风采。

Flight Plan/空中危机

This is a story about faith and love. In a way it is even similar to "Enemy of the State": can you insist on what you believe while all the others doubt you? Jodie Foster's performance is very good.

Two impressing points: 1, the love to one's own family and self-confident to one's own intellect; 2, expertise is very important.

Peter Sarsgaard, the actor for the villain, also starred the villain in the "The Skeleton Key".

这是一个关于信念和爱的故事，在某种程度上它甚至和《国家公敌》相类似：当周围的人都在质疑你的时候，你是否能坚持自己的信念？Jodie Foster的演出很出色。

令人最有印象的有两点：1、对自己家人的爱和对自己理智的自信；2、专业知识很重要啊。

出演反派的演员Peter Sarsgaard在《万能钥匙》里也饰演的反派。

King Kong/金刚

The movie was a remake of the same-named classic movie. With the time passed, the movie was better in visual effect, and no more focused on the horror of King Kong while emphasizing the friendship/love between the girl and the beast. The interpretation of the movie could be a matter of opinion, some comments saw the love, but I preferred that this was the conflicts and misunderstanding between two civilizations.

本片是同名经典老片的翻拍片，不过时过境迁，现在的片子特效方面做得更好，并没有刻意强调金刚的恐怖，而是突出了女主角与动物之间的情谊。对本片的解读可谓是见仁见智，有的人看到爱情，不过我看到的恐怕更多是两种文明之间的冲突和误解。

Under The Influence/戒烟不戒酒

This was a movie by Zhu Shimao himself. He tried to reflect the ordinary life of the contemporary Chinese middle-aged white-collar men, yet, such a life may be relatively boring, so the related movie was kind of boring too. The movie had tried to create some dramatic conflicts, but all soon ended in haste limited by the length of the movie itself.

本片是朱时茂自己拍摄的电影，试图反映当下中国的白领中年的普通生活，但是这样的生活可能是比较平淡的，所以拍出来的电影也比较平淡。电影试图造出一些戏剧性的冲突，但囿于电影本身的篇幅，这些冲突最终都草草收场。

Megamind: The Button of Doom/超级大坏蛋：毁灭按钮

The animation was an additional part of "Megamind". However, it may not be so wise to try to tell a long story which could make a long enough animation in such a short one.

本片是《超级大坏蛋》的附加短篇。不过它试图在这么短小的篇幅里讲一个信息量差不多可以做一个长篇动画的故事似乎有点不太合适。

My Own Swordsman The Movie/武林外传

As the movie version of the TV show with same name, it tried hard to keep the balance between maintaining the original architecture and roles' character and re-telling a new story. This continued the original style of the former story, but at the same time would found it hard to make any significant breakthrough. Although the movie chose the heated topic "real estate" as the base of the story, it still failed to give the audience a strong impression.

作为同名电视剧的电影版，本片很难得地保持了一个平衡：在保持原有架构和人物设定的基础上，重新讲了一个完整的新故事。这一方面延续了原片的风格，但一方面也确实难再有比较大的突破。尽管本片选择了“房地产”这个热门话题作为故事的出发点，但仍然没有给观众留下突破性的印象。

Hall Pass/嘿咻卡

As Mr. Qian Zhongshu once said: marriage was like a siege, the people inside wanted to get out, while the people outside wanted to get in. The only reason was that the attractiveness from the other side seemed bigger. More often, the attractiveness from something forbidden was much bigger than the thing itself. When we meet with something forbidden, we would be curiously at once enough for an exploration. Yet, once the label of "forbidden" was removed, we may also lose our interest in it. The movie was such a story based on the premise, a warm family show. Two ordinary middle-aged guys, once accepted the hall passes from their wives that they may "do anything they want", on the contrary, were more aware of their families' value.

正如钱钟书所讲：婚姻就像一座围城，城里的人想出来，城外的人想进去。原因无他，仅仅在于似乎另外一面更有吸引力。而更多时候，来自禁忌的吸引力往往比禁忌行为本身的吸引力更大。当我们知道这是禁忌行为的时候，往往都马上就起了去探索一番的好奇心，但如果真的拿掉“禁忌”这个标签，可能反而就引不起我们的兴趣了。本片正是建立在这一逻辑前提上的故事。温情家庭片，两个普普通通的中年男人，在得到妻子给的可以“胡作非为”的嘿咻卡之后，反而更加真切地认识到了家庭的可贵。

Unstoppable/危情时速

The story was to solve an emergency of how to cope with a dangerous train, and the movie's rhythm was also very urgent, making the audience to follow the rhythm totally until the final happy ending.

本片故事要解决的是一个如何处置一列危险火车的紧急问题，而本片的节奏也非常紧急，让观众跟着电影的节奏一起提心吊胆，直到最后的圆满结局。
